Last August, we celebrated three years of Calibr8 Digital. It was a milestone that we wanted to commemorate with a fun and memorable team outing. And what better place to have a blast than at Enchanted Kingdom (EK)?
We started our day with a delicious breakfast at Pancake House in Greenbelt. Enjoying their tasty breakfast meals was a great way to fuel up for the exciting day ahead.
After breakfast, we split up into two groups wearing our company anniversary shirts and headed to our respective vans.
We arrived at the amusement park about an hour later. The sun was shining brightly, but we didn’t mind the heat. We were all excited to experience the thrill of the rides and attractions. Many of us hadn’t been to EK in a while, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were eager to explore the park and have some fun.
We started strong with a heart-pounding roller coaster ride that had us screaming and laughing at the same time. We felt the adrenaline rush as we zoomed through loops, twists, and turns. We followed it up with more exciting rides found throughout the amusement park.
We also tried out more laid-back attractions like the Rialto theater experience. Here, we enjoyed the immersive viewing experience that made us feel like we were part of the action. We also got to admire the view of the park from the giant ferris wheel that gave us – excluding those who have a fear of heights – a relaxing ride.
At around 1 in the afternoon, we took a break for a hearty lunch and much-needed refreshments.
After lunch, we decided to go on the water rides. Since we knew we were going to get wet, we rented out lockers for our bags. Watching everyone try to fit in all their bags in shared lockers was like watching someone solve a jigsaw puzzle. It was hilarious!
We had a blast getting soaked on rides like the Rio Grande Rapids and the Jungle Log Jam. We felt the splash as we plunged down the steep slopes and braced ourselves for the rapids as we bobbed along the river.
Later, we got ready to head back to our vans. We changed into dry clothes and said goodbye to Enchanted Kingdom. It was an amazing day that we won’t forget.
But our celebration wasn’t over yet. We still had dinner to look forward to. We drove to Solenad, where we enjoyed pizza, pasta, and other delicious dishes at Nonna’s. The food was flavorful and aromatic, and the service was fast. It was a perfect way to end our day with good food and good company.
Our 3rd year anniversary trip was such a great bonding experience for our team. We had so much fun and laughter together. We also learned more about each other and strengthened our camaraderie. It was a core memory for all of us!
Happy 3rd year anniversary, Calibr8 Digital! Here’s to many more years of success!
